. YLT February 15th 2026 Minutes
- Opened meeting with Prayer
- Discussed what is going on in our lives and at school
- Brought up doing a bowling night but wanted to wait until April.
- Need helpers for a Birthday party February 28th 11:30 am – 2:00 pm.
- Sunday nights has had low attendance, LoBianco room is open 5pm – 8pm, so the idea of having each night have its own thyme might help bring a bigger crowed.
- Early March Euchre Tournament. Euchre is big at all the High Schools.
- End of March dodgeball tournament
- Middle of April bonfire
- End of April movie night.
- March 8th 9:00 am is the Youth Mass. Plan to check with Jessica and make sure all those Confirmed are signed up in Liturgical Ministry.
- The group decided to try and use more social media for more visibility of activities. Claire Thielen is very good at this
- YLT will be selling popcorn, cotton candy, and cheese pizza at Resurrection school Winter Carnival February 20th. Half of the sales of the cotton candy will go to the shawl makers as a donation from YLT.
- YLT will also be helping with the Sacred Space for youth if they are not attending the Adult program.
- Monday nights Bible study has been going well. There are 6-9 students attending on a regular basis. This is open to all high school students.
- March 21st some students will be attending “Epic” a High school night in Cedar Rapids sponsored by the Dubuque & Davenport Archdioceses.
- The Youth will be doing a version of “The Stations of the Cross” March 25th 6:30 in the Church.
